Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

This Privacy Policy explains how Integrated Wellness Behavioral Health ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. It also describes your rights under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and how we protect your health information.

7. Email, Texting, and Electronic Communication
If you choose to communicate with us by email, text, or through our website, please be aware that no electronic system is 100% secure. We take reasonable steps to protect electronic communications, but there is some risk that messages could be accessed by others. You can tell us if you prefer not to receive electronic communications.

8. Data Retention
We keep your records for the time required by law and professional standards. After that time, records may be securely destroyed.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted and the effective date will be revised. The new notice will apply to all information we maintain, including information created or received before the change.
